Julia Loggins on “Redefining Beauty”

When Julia Loggins was a young girl, the doctors told her parents that she would not live past 17 years old. Well, she’s here, on the Delicious Alignment Podcast, to let everyone know, that she proved them all wrong.

Julia Loggins, ex-wife of musician Kenny Loggins, is a vibrant 67 years young woman and believe me when I say, you are not going to believe that she’s 67.  As the author of the new book, Revolutionary Beauty, Julia shares about her long struggle with life-threatening asthma, crippling arthritis and environmental allergies. She even tells me about her near-death experience where she found herself floating above her body. It was the first time she remembers actually being out of physical pain.

I wanted to interview Julia because of her stance in the book that we, as a society, are in the middle, or in the beginnings at least, of redefining our definition and understanding of beauty.

Which is sort of ironic because for most of her life, Julia felt unattractive, having spent her childhood and teen years overcoming debilitating illnesses and, as a result, was in and out of hospitals. By the time she was in her teens, her organs were barely functioning, she had lost her hair, including her eyelashes and her eyebrows.

Thanks to the principals of the Bragg Healthy Lifestyle, Julia completely healed her mind and body. With the determination to help herself and others, she began to study holistic and regenerative medicine. She then set out to inspire people on how to live their best, healthy, and most authentic lifestyles.

With over 35 years of experience in wellness, Julia has helped countless people transform their lives, and reach their health goals. Julia recently released her book Revolutionary Beauty on February 1st with trail-blazing health pioneer and former head of Bragg Live Foods, Patricia Bragg. For over 65 years, Patricia has inspired millions and saved lives with the practices she taught and continues to change people’s lives with her expertise in ageless beauty practices. Julia and Patricia have joined forces to share their masterful, highly sought-after tips of achieving health, beauty and renewable energy from the inside and out. Their mission is to inspire women worldwide to reach their optimal goals of radiant health and happiness, no matter what their age! Let’s dive in!

  9. That voice inside you that tells you you’re not good enough is not your voice. It could be your mother’s or your father’s but it doesn’t matter whose voice it is. What matters is that you allow a new voice – the voice of your Inner Being – to help you remember who you really are.
  10. Find the tools that help you connect with your true essence.
